Having previously reviewed Bansko’s bars and restaurants which have a music scene I like, Sing Sing Pian Bar was my personal favourite. The unique and lively atmosphere of the piano bars in Bansko are a huge asset for music and party lovers alike.
Expect uptempo and varied contemporary music — not background music. Piano bar nights are, for me, always evenings I remember. Just like yesterday’s hike in the Pirin. Special times.
Magi Alexieva: A Prime Act In Prime Location
Magi has been singing ever since she was 6. She is Laureate of the First Prize at the Golden Harlequin competition in Pleven. Magi is well known Jazz FM’s listeners with her cover version of “Feliz Navidad”, released last Christmas.
This summer Magi Alexieva will graduate from the Luybomir Pipkov National School of Music. It is here where she studies pop and jazz singing. (thank you to JazzFMbg)
Magi getting to be widely known in Bulgaria, having appeared on BTV along with her supporting musicians, Alexander Slavchev and Mihail Bozev.
