Value For Money?  Survey after survey puts Bansko at the top of the charts for the cheapest/best value skiing in Europe. And for 2013 I think with better bars and restaurants and yet more great cuisine. With the price increase the season pass up 50% is not good value for money.

There’s even a choice of British beer and cider. Available in over ten venues.

Sure, I want more ski runs, another gondola and more lifts  —  I’m now think ing that new lifts and runs happen..There have been some unconfirmed reports that UNESCO has now accepted that the environmental work undertaken by the lift operator, Ulen, is acceptable. But I do not know.

Those who come in the summer, and those who join me on one of my free hikes, can see that most of the pistes are presented as glorious green meadows. This news will pave the way for the much anticipated resort expansion…

I hope.

Conclusion

2013 may be he year of an expansion of Bansko’s ski facilities.

Finally, do please comment. Be aware the gondola queues happen at peak times.

Take a peek at the mountain cams including the live streaming Q cam both here and on your mobile device on the all updated Bansko App for iOS (Apple and Android). Looking at these will help you choose the best time to go for the gondola and get up the mountain.
