Today’s YouTube Short from Lance Nelson gave a strong on-mountain update from Bansko, filmed around 10:00 on Monday, 16 March 2026.
TJ and RICHARD joined Lance Nelson for the run, and the team rated conditions at 9.5/10 — absolutely excellent on the mountain.
Important gear note from the video: both riders were on HEAD skis. TJ was on race skis, while Lance was on slalom skis.
The forecast signal from the same update is positive: more snow is expected tonight. The exact amount is still unclear, although Lance estimated roughly 5–10 cm.
Lance also shared an important safety reminder: stay in control, ride within your limits, and stay aware of other skiers and snowboarders around you.
