The Monastery – Apt 27

The Monastery apartment 27 is a recently renovated apartment. Apartment 27 at the Monastery is furnished to a high level, offering comfortable accommodation, beautiful views of the Pirin Mountains, and a 5 minute walk from the ski gondola, supermarket, bars and pubs.

It has two double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with toilet and shower, and a bathroom with a separate toilet. It has a ski rack for skis and boots, flat screen TV (with cable), WIFI, iPOD Dock, modernised kitchen with all amenities, including washing machine. It has a beautiful log fireplace to warm you on the winter nights.

We are a five minute walk from the Ski Gondola, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. There is parking available, and the flat has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Rates are inclusive of all utilities. Our agent, who speaks English, Bulgarian and Russian, will meet and greet, and is available as an emergency contact during your visit. We provide a welcome pack for all our guests on arrival.

Prices are based on 4 to 6 people sharing

Booking notes

A deposit of £100 is required with all bookings. Full payment for the rental is required 4 weeks prior to arrival.  The deposit will be refunded once the flat has been checked by our agent for any damages or breakages

Changeover day

Bookings are normally Saturday – Saturday, particularly in Winter. We will try to be flexible, but this might not be possible during busy times.

Accessibility

This flat is accessed via one flight of stairs. There is no disability access available

Outside

There is a lovely communal garden in front of the flats. The flat has a balcony with beautiful views of the Pirin Mountains, and it catches the afternoon sun

Golf

Pirin Golf and Country Club is a short drive away. The elite club offers holidaymakers the rare opportunity to tee off amongst pine tree-lined fairways in the morning, and unwind in the evening in their thermal water spas. One can play 18 holes on the Ian Woosnam golf course, and 5 on the new amazing Pine course.

Skiing

The flat is 5 minutes from the ski gondola, and we can help with all ski hire and ski packages. There are 70kms of north facing slopes and it boasts the best snow record out of all Bulgarian ski resorts. There are snow cannons over 80% of the slopes to help out when needed. There is a modern lift system, and the ski terrain will suite all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

Special interest holidays

In the summer, Bansko and the surrounding area offers a lot of outdoor activities for all to enjoy. These include mountain biking, hiking, white-water rafting, rock climbing, horse-riding, and excursions to various places, such as Melnik and Rozhen Monastery, Bear Park, Rila Monastery, Yagodinska cave and many more. The Island of Thassos in Northern Greece is only 3.5 hours from Bansko.

Bulgaria is under three hour flight from most European airports.

Further details

Bansko is a picturesque town that has many of its original features and traditional ways. The old town still has the traditional high walls and decorative gates, with almost all of the streets cobbled. There are many restaurants in Bansko, all serving traditional food and beverages. The town square has water fountains to drink from, and has many cafes and bars bordering it, so you can experience the typical way of life of the Bulgarians.
