The Bansko Summer 2024 gondola lift times and prices are all here.  Bansko summer has arrived with a bang. The scene is set for hiking the Bansko Nomad Fest and much more. I love Bansko in the summer and I’m pleased to say our private transfers are available all year round. No price increases book in our Bansko Blog App or on the main booking form. And all transfer clients receive 30 lv discount per ATV hired!

During the whole summer season groups with more than 50 members can be transported with other lifts and working hours as well. In these cases your reservation must be made at least one day in advance in person the office of Ulen, situated in the gondola station in Bansko.

The summer is under way and we’re  busy with your summer activities. Contact us (lance at banskoblog.com) to book your car hire, private transfers, rila monastery tour, melnik wine tour, Plovdiv tour, Rila Lakes tour. ATV tour, 4×4 tour and much more.

Transfers to and from Bansko to Sofia can be booked quickly in the Bansko App (it’s free). Transfers from Plovdiv and Thessaloniki available on request.

Notes on prices

  • College students’ card can be used upon verification of a valid college student’s card
  • High school students’ card can be used upon verification of a valid student’s card
  • Cards / tickets for retirees can be used after presenting an identity card
  • Kids’ cards (up to 7 years old) can be used only with an accompanying adult
  • One adult can accompany up to two kids (up to 7 years old)
  • Validity of the kids’ card (up to 7 years old) should be the same as the validity of the accompanying adult’s card
  • Cards for children up to 7 years old require a picture of the child, which will be taken at the time of issue of the card at the cash desk. To purchase such a card is necessary to present a document, that veryfies the child’s age (birth certificate).
  • Kids’ card can be used by kids under 12 (included).
  • A roundtrip ticket can be used in two directions on the same day or in two different directions on different days (without repeating the direction) until the end of the announced season
  • The daily lift pass includes the bicycle transport

Bus timetable

The bus is a good option as it takes you up to where most walks start at, Vihren hut.

The bus, operated by Korso Ltd (+359 749 88331). It leaves  at 08:30 from the Glazne Hotel (by the bridge) and then shortly afterwards stops outside the Strazhite hotel.
