Bansko lift pass price: 60 lv / day whilst many lifts are closed

Bansko lift pass prices have been reduce to 60lv / day for an adult pass and 30 lv for a child. This reduction from 90 lv / day is due to the poor snow cover which has necessitated a much reduced lift and piste opening.

As of today, 21st December 2022 only the gondola lift and the six person Kolarski lift is open with piste number 8 and the section of piste 1 that takes skiers back down to Bundersihka Poliana which is also the bottom of the Kolarski lift.

With temperatures rising and not falling until the 27th December it is a very challenging outlook. The resort is suffering from cancellations and even though snowmaking will most likely enable some more piste open for New Year, it is by no means guaranteed.

There is only minimal natural snow set to fall on the 27th December and therefore we could be waiting until the 6th or 7th of January 2023 for better conditions. And with that will come many more lifts open.

As always, weather is weather; unpredictable more than five days ahead. Things can change really quickly.
