Bansko ATV: The all year round activity
A morning ski was done and as Freddie and I turned up for our afternoon out with Bansko ATV with drizzle we were grateful we had listened to the advice on warm clothing and robust footwear. After being kitted out on waterproof trousers and full face helmets the safety briefing and familiarity session with these brand new ATV’s started. Leaning and standing up at the right moment as well as when to power up were all covered.
As a newbie to ATV I was keen to ensure that all the info was absorbed, not least for my passenger Freddie wo would ride as passenger on our two seater. You have a choice of one or two seaters.
Things were kept interesting by Kris, our guide. Well prepared and jolly with lots of local history some of which, like the communist era shooting range, I did not know. The ATV’s climbed steep hills and they took all terrain
Regulars will know the Peshterite (the caves) and so we approached them from above and crossed the ski road before a short on road section back.
A fun session which nicely ads variety and amazing views to a trip to Bansko anytime of the year. Check out the video made by Kris on our tour.
