Gondola lift Bansko

It’s time to look at the snow prospects and ski conditions rest of February. But before that be sure to join so many of your dear blog followers who support the site, the app and the vlogs by booking here. It’s much appreciated and helps me improve everything for others.

Warm temperatures have come in for the busy holiday season after a nice 10cm dump last week. See my snow report below:

It’s busy holiday time now and everything is going well, even though some of you have been affected by the storms. But its great to have so many first timers who have booked here on banskoblog (or in the App). You’re loving the transfers and the quality (and price) of the ski and snowboard hire and the instruction. And at this busy time the fact we’re so close to the gondola lift, just 50 metres.

Snow forecast until 3rd March

Bansko snow forecast: meteoblue.com

So much needed with 15cm of snow coming tomorrow 20th February, things are set to improve. But to be clear, the plato is now open and skiing very well indeed. Conditions can be amazingly good without so much snow depth. Snow depth is not what it is always about. But, as I say, we do need more.

We then get more  warm weather in town (145 C!!) but from 28th February, the weather gets back on track for my favourite month, March with snow on the 28th February.

Lesson availability

Every year we get fully booked for private lessons in early March. So if you are thinking of booking, then please don’t delay. And only choose advanced skis of you are confident on red rune and ok open black runs. We don’t charge extras.

Restaurant booking

Book your restaurant table in the App or on this link: bit.ly/BanskoTableBooking (it helps support the blog, vlog and app) — we have has an enthusiastic response to thus service, now in its fourth season. The Irish Harp free pick up and return service from you accommodation has been really popular when booking in the app. Great service and high quality Irish beef and Guinness pie, Irish aged steak, fish and even superb vegan dishes including tempura vegetables. At Home are a great addition for the season with a new menu now and many vegan dishes.
