From Gondola Lift to Skimania: Our Ski hire and Lesson Partners since 2008

I’m back with a blog, a vlog and pictures. The refurbished Skimania shop, the return of Mira on reception and loads of smart new vehicles in the 60+ vehicle transfer fleet. Watch my stroll from the gondola lift to the shop which includes an unexpected chat with some blog followers.
I’ve never been happier with the team. Friendly and with some of the best instructors you’ll find anywhere. We support you on the hill too — if you have a problem then we always have tools to fix a snowboard binding or whatever you need.

The refurbished shop has plenty of room and is just 50 metres from the gondola lift. Open early from 07:50 and closes late at 18:30. You can come and get fitted when you arrive from 2.30pm so you ar eerily for your first day on the slopes. By prebooking here on banskoblog / app, you not only save money but you save time as well. Most people are in and fitted with all their equipment and out within 6 or 7 minutes.

We believe that, shameless plug coming up, that we offerworld class ski extra set up. Since 2008 we’ve been providing efficient, professional ski and snowboard services. And then there is the planning of your ski trip for your group. We take the hassle out and ensure you receive a friendly service, safe transfers in nearly new vehicles and high quality big name ski and snowboard hire and lessons. All the standard skis and snowboards are great but if you are comfortable on black runs then you should hire our Advanced range. We offer lots of help if you’re planning a large group, maybe a corporate trip. Our service includes accommodation, entertainment, skidoo safari, cultural tours and restaurant evenings.

And the shop has it’s own personal toilets — they’re cleaned every day. There’s free storage of your hire equipment and your own boots. Free boot drying too. We believe in no extras. I find them annoying — so we don’t do them.

Snow UPDATE
The snowfall has been the worst for many years. The snow cannon have worked well but some areas on the pistes are thin. But things will change on 26th January Sunday night and Monday 27th and then the following week will build up for a big dump of snow on the 2nd February.
