Vlog Snow Report from a new Bansko Blog Customer
It’s been a challenging start to the season with some poor days, like Monday and some better days like yesterday and today. But the cold temperatures have kicked in. This enables snow cannon to to do their job and get that snow on the pistes. Tomorrow I expect all of piste 10 to open with piste 5 well on its way to opening. Here’s Paul’s report from piste 10 to pizza:
But with no snow road open this is going to place a lot of pressure on the space available at a very busy time fo the season.
With my back aching and confined to lying down and I was delighted to be able to accept the kind offer from Paul to make a snow report. And what a great one it is… Paul is funny and humble too. He shows us the way down piste 10 at the base of the Plato lift down to 180 Restaurant for a pizza.
His first trip skiing for 17 years and it sounds as if he is hooked — threatening to return with the boys in March. This is a great reminder that if you haven’t managed to go skiing for many years, that you still can. It’s easier than ever before and the Advanced skis are superb for better skiers to start getting confidence in making proper carving turns (and same goes for the snowboard advanced range).
I hope you will follow in Paul’s footsteps from piste to pizza and join us in Bansko this season. And if you ever fancy doing a snow report, like Paul has, then you’re welcome just drop me a message.
