With music, dancing, firework and snow falling  the opening day on Saturday was a good one. The high winds were not great but that all improved yesterday and for today with some fine skiing to be had on the plato.

With lots of people enjoying the atmosphere it is always a pleasure to be here on season opening day and be joined by Richard Z and David Ware. As you can see in out video above.

I tested the brand new Salomon skis and I cannot wait to test them some more before giving my final verdict. But these beauties go fast and are super stable in fast turns.

Snow forecast: We have three more sunny days and slightly higher than normal daytime temperatures. Then things get back to normal on Friday with more snow and much colder temperatures.
