With the Bansko ski season officially starting on the 14th December 2019, you’ll see that we have a big refresh of the ski hire shop. Much more space, new easy sliding doors and direct access to toilets. Moving walls and the reception area has already meant that there’s a more comfortable ski fitting space for this season.

The Bansko ski season opening on 14th December 2019 means that everyone in the Bansko Blog team are feeling great and full of anticipation and excitement for the 2019/20 ski season, which is just around the corner.

The same warm welcome — well I would suggest — and even better welcome happens this season with the return of Mira on front desk. Putting customers rat the centre of any business is easy to say but it is at the heart of everything we do.

But the date when the season will end is not yet known. But I do know that so many of you, whether you’re skiing or snowboarding for the first time or are Bansko regulars, are booking flights independently.  And using our discounted transfers, ski hire, private and group lessons (click here).

A terrific start to the season and I would like to thank all of you who have booked so far. If you haven’t yet, then don’t procrastinate, do it today.

More clients than ever are booking up two or three trips for the coming ski season. And that is a good thing — it’s more to look forward to.

Apres ski is high on the list of reasons why so many folks come to Bansko. I’ll be reviewing the variety venues such as the winter market, the popular Euphoria, Queen’s Pub, Ginger, Penguins, Bers, Gastro Wine, Red Hot, Log House and new restaurant openings, such as Egur Egur, just up from the Kempinski. Then there is great coffee and snacks from the Station, Happy Food and Coconut on Gotse Delchev street (see above).

I’ll also be reviewing vegan friendly restaurants. I’ve been vegan sine mid August and I like it. I confess to a few meals where there was some meat but generally it’s been easier than I had imagined.
