Recently with two friends visiting Bansko for the first time, tried the restaurant there I feel that the standard of cooking from Trevor Portelli was amazing. The scallops were cooked to perfection and then my cod as my main was also cooked just right. Beautiful flavours and freshness shone out. The there was was the oak aged rake from Korten winery which started the evening off rather nicely.
A good value Domain Boyar Boutique series Chardonnay blend accompanied all the dishes. Enough vanilla oak flavours to stand up to the scopes and the space but not overpowering in any way.
