Natalia Kashirskaya: Kempinski General Manager

Natalia Kashirskya is the new Kempinski General Manager and now, after two months in the role, I catch up with her on episode #101 on my Bulgaria Now Podcast series.

Natalia reveals some of the special qualities for a successful career in hospitality and her excitement of arriving in Bulgaria. Emiliya, Kempinski’s long-time PR and Marketing Manager and my one contact at the Kempinski that has not changed for over six years, joined in the conversation to talk about how social media has changed the role along with the changing expectations of the hotel’s guests.

Natalia’s friendly disposition, an easy smile and a sense of humour are ideal attributes for dealing with the everyday challenges of the role. I should also disclose that Natalia joined me for dinner afterward our podcast to meet a some of the English speaking community in Bansko.

We’ll be seeing more of Natalia out and about in Bansko and I look forward to reporting more on the changes at the Kempinski Hotel after the cocktail reception launching. In particular, their new apres ski bar which will be located upstairs with hot cocktails, special events and a DJ. I also await to taste the forthcoming afternoon English Tea, their new menu for the lobby bar and their Italian Come Prima restaurant menu. I feel there was a need to refresh the menus and I look forward to see how their new Food and Beverage Manager manages to execute on all of this.
