Gondola lift

From 15th March 2017 until end of ski season (17th April '17)

From 15th March until the end of the season the price of a one day adult lift pass, purchased from the gondola lift cash desk, is reduced from 58 leva (€29.63) to 46 leva (€23.50). A 20% reduction. This surprise discount comes at a time when substantial dumps of snow are expected over the next week.

It seems that there is even more incentive to plan a trip to Bansko. Organising a ski trip before the end of this ski season is easy to do. Book a flight, then book accommodation and then book your transfer, ski snowboard hire and lessons by clicking here on banskoblog.com / Bansko app.

The season is expected to end on the 17th April. But this date might change according to snow and weather conditions.

This is welcome news for those with families who are thinking of coming to Bansko at the end of March and April. I believe that skiing and snowboarding is about getting family and friends together. Sharing memories and doing something together.

Bansko is now more affordable with legendary value accommodation, restaurants and the value end of season lift passes.

The downside to this? It may add a little to the numbers of people here, which may mean some lift queues. But any increase in numbers is could be due to the great snow rather than the price of a lift pass. Who knows? I don’t for sure.
