Ski conditions have been really good in Bansko. Often the start of the season is slow and somewhat frustrating — but 2016 the snow arrived in late November and now the opening of piste number 10, the lower part of the tomba and snow road. Ivan Obreykov, the resort manager for the lift company Ulen, joined me for a Facebook live broadcast:

Temperatures will drop with some snow Monday and Tuesday. There could be some more snow on Saturday — but I think that is looking uncertain as I type this.
