Bulgarian Independent Media Alliance
Bulgarian Independent Media Alliance (“BIMA”) is a joint project by Clive Leviev-Sawyer, owner of The Sofia Globe, me (Lance Nelson, owner of Bansko Blog, Bansko App and Bulgaria Now Podcast, and Imanuel Marcus of Foreigners and Friends Magazine. Our team boasts a variety of nationalities – just like our international and expatriate audiences.
On the launch of BIMA, Foreigner and Friends Magazine’s Imanuel Marcus said: “These publications belong together. It feels natural, because of the target groups we share. Because of our different approaches regarding content, it’s a perfect match.”
The Sofia Globe’s Leviev-Sawyer: “BIMA brings together what belongs together – people sharing the same commitments, and readerships that are similar but do not completely overlap, thus widening our footprint. I see that as a significant step forward for The Sofia Globe, one of the most important ones since our 2012 launch”.
and I (Lance Nelson) say “BIMA is enriching our content. I’m delighted to be part of something that seems so right. But most of all, I’m excited for the future of what we’ll create together.”
