60 cm of fresh snow: 29th December 2014

A fabulous day with the fresh 30cm that fell last night and this morning. Temperatures will remain very cold. This will ensure the rest of the runs will open up over the next few days.

Richard is the guest snow reporter who shows the fluffy white stuff, in all its fresh fallen glory:

      Hi Russell,

Thank you for commenting here — yes the orange Spyder jacket is visible! Actually it’s new to me this season — albeit it is a 5 year old second hand model given to me my a good friend. It is a bit retro, but I honestly could not find a new jacket that was so well designed with loads of pockets. A deservedly popular brand.

Say hi if you see me. I’m usually, but not always, up early. A quick ski, check the conditions and a coffee. This year I have to give credit to the iPhone 6 Plus enabling more work to be completed on the mountain than ever before and therefore extending my slope time. Always good!
