Snow is falling nicely today in Bansko town. Looking like 60cm+ snow cover higher up. A good opening ceremony is now assured for this weekend, 15th December.

Hi Ian and Willie, Thank you, and hope to see you here.

If anyone has a nice Bansko photo they would like lots of people (around 40,000 per month) to view; then just email it to me. I’ll also publish a Christmas / Birthday /Anniversary message if you wish in an article as a thank you.

great fotos and atmosphere…but…our bulgarian friends are confused thinking that this budget resort is equal to austrian alps…and their prices are rising and rising especially the hotel ones…so…looking at the live cameras the crowd at the opening weekend is less than half compared to last year when the snow was much less …so think about reducing your prices or you will see less and less visitors especially from neigbouring greece that represends the 1/3 of your visitors…
    happy ski season…!!!!
