Directions to Bansko from Sofia Airport (click on map to enlarge):
Leave airport and head straight towards “Centrum”, road bends round to join main dual carriageway , continue for approx 2-3 miles (past McDonalds signs etc) until a large building looms to the right with ‘Mtel’ sign on the top , turn off right before this building which takes you under the main road and join road with large antennae tower on left hand side. Keep going straight over traffic lights until you come to traffic lights where main part of roads bears around to the left in 2 lanes. Keep going until the end of that road and take a right towards signposted to ‘Kulata’. Go to www.bgmaps.com for directions and maps

Keep going until you get to traffic lights just past large garage EKO’ on the left . Go left at traffic lights onto bumpy cobbled road which drifts in and out of dual carriageway up a hill . You come to a right turning for ‘E79 Kulata’ which takes you under a bridge and onto main nicely tarmaced dual carriageway. Continue on E79 about 15 km past Blagoevgrad, and past Simitli, turn right (signposted) to Razlog/Bansko etc, keep going on the mountain road and onto Razlog straight and into Bansko. For Mountain Residence 3 follow signs to lift and turn right about 100metres past ice rink (onto Bansko ring road) at the only traffic lights just before gondola . Take first right and you will see Mountain Residence 3 on left. Contact us for directions to other apartments.

Please note in can be quicker going via Samakov and then Dupnitsa to avoid Sofia at peak traffic times.
