we had a great holiday in Bansko.The apartment was fantastic.. Very close to gondola and main street.It was really big and comfortable.Thanks Lance for all the great information.
Victoria is a great place to eat,great food for great price.
and Inter Sport was also great,very nice people very friendly.. Most friendly people in Bansko.The ski instructer Vladislav Karaivanov was the best instructer till now.
I will b going there first week of April and will stay in Mountain Residence 3 again..

Do you think more ski/board/jazz/culture travellers lovers will come from Turkey like you have – and give Bansko a try? How does Basnko compare to Turkey’s ski resorts?
BTW, I just had several more people feedback on Bansko services e.g ski instruction, bar/restaurant service and generally in hotels. It’s now not a co incidence – service is improving in 2009.
Poor customer service is one big Bansko negative that should soon be resigned to history. And rather earlier than I had dared hope. Lance

if i compare Turkey Ski Resorts with Bansko i definatly say that Bansko is a lot better and a lot more cheaper.I have been all the ski resorts in Turkey.If people wants a real ski holiday Bansko is a great place and i am so sure that it will be a lot better when Bansko have the second gondola and more friendly staff.Food quality is better in Turkey but in Bansko if you know the right places to go you have excellent international food for very good value.Slopes are much better than Turkey and ski schools for kids and nursery for younger kids is also very good in Bansko.Parents can leave their kids to ski school or nursery and enyoj skiing.The price for a very nice apart like yours for a week you can only stay mabe 2 nights in Turkey even some hotels one night.And in Turkey Ski resorts you cant find aparts like yours you can only find hotel rooms.
The price you pay for a 4 hrs ski lessonin Bansko you can only take one hour ski lesson in Turkey.Yes there is construction everywhere but i dont think that is so important for people who comes skiing!
So i advice all the Turkish skiers and snow borders to come to Bansko and enyoj it for a very good price!!

Here is my feedback as I promissed:
We are Bulgarians from Sofia and we have been many times in Bansko but I must say that the conditions that you offered were the best in our experience up to now.
Our holiday in Bansko took part between 01 and 05 of April ’09.
The apartment house is built in a modern stile with flavour of traditional Bulgarian architecture. The location is convenient – very near the gondola station.
We liked the apartment very much – large, luxury furnished, clean and quite. And the price was very affordable. This was all we need .
Although the weather was already warm the ski runs were very well maintained and the resort offered excellent conditions for skiing.
Another thing that impressed us was the excellent service given by the apartment manager Jordan – very polite and fair, he is really nice person.
We also want to recommend the pizza-restaurant Victoria as excellent place to eat – really nice atmosphere, good service, normal prices and delicious dishes.
So Lance, thanks to you, we have spent a fantastic holiday in Bansko!
I will recommend your offer to all my friends.

Bulgaria seems to be a magical, fairy tale place and the prices are terrific. Third World country prices in a European setting. Can’t beat that!
