Reflecting back on Bansko blog, which I started in 2009 after a twenty year career in banking. Since then I, and my partners, have been providing discounted services but without the penalty of other low cost services.

The feedback I get from email, within the app, the in-app chat and face to face is why I stick to providing a pricing and booking form that enables you to book exactly what you require. It’s easy and saves hassle and money. Read my post on planning your ski trip to Bansko. There are useful tips on picking the right skis, snowboards and assessing your skill level.

From your transfer to the ski shop, just 50 metres from the lift, you have everything. Things like small class sizes, with 100% satisfaction guarantee on lessons means you progress quickly. Then there’s the long shop opening hours meaning you can get up on the early lift for the corduroy pistes.

Then there is proper ski and snowboard preparation. We are ski and snowboard enthusiasts and we know how important it is that the gear is right. That is why we have tools and assistance up on the mountain to deal with any problems or questions you may have.

For seven years I have worked with the same partners, improving year on year upon what we do. Improving standards to a level that I’m, proud to hear often exceeds what you may find in a typical alpine ski resort. All at lower prices.

Not sure when to come to Bansko then click here for all the school holidays for Bulgaria, UK, Israel, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Russia.

If you want to join me for a snow report or just say hello, then please contact me and I’ll be more than happy for your to join me for a run or two.
